An external Advisory Board (AB) has been set up with representatives of various stakeholders in Agriculture, Agro-food industry, forestry, ICT and Capital sectors.
The members of the Advisory Board are entrusted with the following missions:
- To provide external advice on DIVA progress and to give their recommendations with regards to the main achievements of the project,
- To take part in the evaluation process of the DIVA open calls in order to help choose the most relevant proposals.
- To produce advice in case of conflicts that cannot be solved fairly and rapidly at the Steering Committee level.

University College Dublin Ireland
|Is an Assistant Professor in the UCD School of Biosystems and Food Engineering at the University College Dublin, Ireland. Prior to joining UCD, he was a Scientific Coordinator in the Research Center for Bioeconomy at the University of Hohenheim (UHOH), Stuttgart, Germany. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering, an M.Sc. in Environmental Protection & Agricultural Food Production and a B.Sc. in Biosystems Engineering (Agricultural Machinery & Irrigation), being a member of the Association of German Engineers (Max Eyth Society for Agricultural Engineering). He is strongly involved in the Focus Groups of the EIP-AGRI and he has led UHOH’s involvement in a wide range of H2020-funded projects including ERASMUS+, ERA-NET, EIT-FOOD with industry and academic partners in Europe.|
|She is general manager of INLAC (april 2019-now).
She had almost 15 years of experience at Spanish Food and Drink Industry Federation (FIAB) in developing R&D and innovation projects mainly for the food and drink industry. She was manager of R&D and innovation department in FIAB and Secretary General of Techological Platform Food for Life-Spain (PTF4LS), where she manages national and EU R&D projects (from 2007 till 2017).
Since 2015 she was coordinator of the Spanish bioeconomy strategy. Earlier (2002-2006), she was director of the website www.informacionconsumidor for the Foundation ALIMENTUM. Also, she was associate professor/teacher in different universities.
|Is a senior engineer at IRSTEA with 37 year’s experience in machine vision applied to biological product with 22 years of specific experience in vineyards application domains. He has participate in numerous national (PIA, ANR, CASDAR, FUI) and European (FP and ERDF) projects.). He was recently the NCP of ERANET ICTAGRI2. He as 20 year’s experience in technology transfer and innovation project management. He has been a member of several scientific boards (CTIFL/FranceAgrimer) and selection committee (ANR, CASDAR, Innovation cluster…). He is now the deputy director of UMR ITAP.|
|María Teresa Linaza
|Dra. Mª Teresa Linaza received a six years degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Navarra, Spain and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Navarra, Spain. From September 1996 to December 2001, she was member of the R&D team in the Electronic and Communications Department of the Centro de Estudios e Investigaciones Técnicas de Gipuzkoa (CEIT) in San Sebastian, Spain. Since 2002, she is member of VICOMTech R&D team, assuming currently the position of Director of Institutional Development and Promotion. Mª Teresa Linaza has also been participating on teaching and training activities in the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Navarra from September 1996 to June 1998 and she is now Associate Professor in the University College of Technical Industrial Engineering in Donostia (University of the Basque Country). She has also given lectures concerning New Technologies and is author of several publications.|
|Mike Lynch is Manager of IT Projects in ICBF in Cork, Ireland which is the organisation that runs the national cattle genetics database. He has over 25 year’s experience in AgTech, Telecoms and Oil & Gas Industries. Since 2002 he has been involved in the building and operation of the national database in Ireland and has been responsible for the implementation of various sectoral and national projects that have been driven from the database. He is also responsible for the technical implementation national animal health programmes under the authority of another national organisation, Animal Health Ireland. He has been involved in EU funded research projects including Optimir & HappyMoo (INTERREG) and SmartAgriHubs (H2020), and is lead for the Data Integration Platform of the Vistamilk Research Centre in Ireland.|
Universidade Nova de Lisboa
|Samuel is an Associate Professor of Agri-food Economics and Policy in the School of Agriculture and Veterinary Science at the University of Padova, Italy. He holds a Ph.D. in Agri-food Economics and Policy at the Department of Land Environment Agriculture and Forestry at the University of Padova and M.Sc. in Agricultural Science and Technology. He is currently Vice Director of the Department of Land Environment Agriculture and Forestry (TeSAF) at the University of Padova and Director of the Interuniversity Center for Accounting and Agricultural, Forestry and Environmental Management (CONTAGRAF). He is scientific coordinator of many project financed by the EIP-AGRI, ESF and ERDF-ROP, as well as involved in project evaluation process (EIP-AGRI, ERA-NET).|
