ALBOR aims the creation of a blockchain public-private network and its use to build, deploy and operate certification services and traceability of primary sector products through smart contracts on a public-private infrastructure managed by interested parties. Agricultural supply chains are risky and complex, lack traceability and the settlement of transactions is slow and often labour intensive. Blockchain has the ability to reduce risk and increase efficiency in the agrofood industry by providing transparency and traceability and by eliminating intermediaries in agricultural value chains and providing a real opportunity for smallholders and SMEs to participate in the market. It is expected to design a platform which offers confidence to organizations, consumers and public administrations in a global supply chain through its immutable data history. The business maturation process provides technological state of art study, IPR, strategy analysis and finantial feasibility evaluation
