AMUSE-FOOD

In recent years there is an increasing interest in healthy meals that can be prepared within a very short time, being readily available for consumption. To address this need, the MadeEasy Social Cooperative Enterprise runs a food processing unit to create pulse-puree meals based on world-known Mediterranean recipes. AMUSE-FOOD aims to exploit recent advancements in plug-and-play sensors technology to support and facilitate the production of safe and high-quality meals for consumers. In particular, the current project focuses on the automation of the pulse-puree production procedure that relies on mild food processing techniques. By developing a modern, safe, and high-quality version of well-known traditional meals, the AMUSE-FOOD project aspires to create a new success story in the European agri-food manufacturing
